    Hi,

    My parents will be visiting in the year end and I want to send them the required documents to get the visa application going. Can anyone here post a template for the following -

    1. Invitation letter from the sponsor to the visitor visa applicant
    2. Letter to consulate by the sponsor

    Also for bank statements, can I use the prinout from PDF available online from my bank website (banf of america)? Do these printouts need notarization?

    I would appreciate any info.

    You are wrong! I am not indian, my friends from China, Sweden, Poland, Russia, Philipine, and Vietnam were there. You just did not see the pics.:D

    Ras, looking at the photo at the rally, I think you got the point. Not much attended and I don't see any other nationals there.

    If she uses her H4 Visa stamp to enter , will have to file H4 to H1 Chane of status to be able to work on H1.

    I think you probably can get the H-1B stamped as well and have your wife enter as H-1B.

    Ken,

    I am on same boat. Mine and my wife case also transfered from Texas to Orlando,FL.My PD is EB2 sep06 and we filed 485 July2nd'07.140 approved in March07.

    We never worked in FL state.

    My case is tranfered on 8th April'08 and a LUD today(9th April 08).

    My view is immigration intent part will not impact much. Just it is giving more power to consulate. Consulate may reject some candidates who are not having strong job offers. It is similar to F1 visa. But nowadays F1 visa rejections are very less compared to past

    Could you please point out the section where it says dual intent for H1 will be removed ?

    I like the idea of linking to the High-5 campaign a lot.
    $5 sounds like a resonable donation for replies to a harrowing immigration question from experts who have lived it, seen it, done it.

    BTW... Could we have a link that bring one to the paypal page directly where you could choose from a drop-down from $5, $10, $20... More like one click donation.
    This would save potential donors from having to sift through the Contribution page and locate the place to click to get to the paypal page. It is likely lead to a lot of "conversions".

    Just a thought

    As long as you never out of status from the last time you reenter US (Aug 97) you should be OK and should submit your I485

    My fear is that if I have an interview, I would fall to pieces and get so nervous to answer questions.
    I also wonder if my entries from 1986 will show up when they check the records.

    I think first thing is the job in your company needs to have a position that qualifies for EB2. Software Analyst, Sr Programmer Analyst, Sr. Designer can all qualify for EB2 what you could do is look up the SOC codes associated with EB2 and see what job titles go with those codes. Everything can start only if your employer has a need for EB2 position in his/ her organization.

    Here's our situation:

    Both of our GC applications were filed in EB3 categories, by our individual employers, independent of each other.

    My priority date is Apr 2002. My 140 is approved and 485 was filed in 2007 and is currently pending.

    My husband's 140 is also approved and 485 was filed back in 2005. His priority date is Sep 2003.

    Is there any way now to link both our applications, so he can take advantage of my earlier priority date without him having to withdraw his 485 application?

    Has anybody recently applied for a Schengen Visa, if yes, can you please let me know what you did for the travel insurance. The insurance from my employer (Humana) says they cover international but do not have a letter that states the same and Swedish consulate website says the letter should specifically say "International Coverage".

    What are my options. Can you guys suggest where I can buy the insurance from.

    Yes, you can go out of US and use that time to recapture as long as you go within 6 yrs of H1. This is my understanding from my conversation with lawyer working to file my perm. I am planning to travel to India for a month or two once I know the exact time I need. Please help to advice if my understanding is inacccurate.

    Hi

    If i requre tha exp letter for i-140 stage then because my employer wont give that....can the client exp letter where i was working from day 1 work..also i hope i can get that from my projet manager and director at client...will this suffice?
