Mine got approved exactly 2 months and a week. The lawyer sent me a copy of I-140 that was sent to USCIS and that covered my Labor certification also.

hi attorneys,
i hv an approved I-140 thru employer A (my current employer). so i am eligible for 3 yrs H-1B extension. the I-140 was approved more than 6 months ago.
once my H-1B extn is approved for 3 yrs, i want to xfr my H-1B to employer B. in that case, if employer A revokes the I-140, then what happens to my H-1B extn? does that become null and void?
pls. note that I-485 is not filed, so i cannot invoke AC-21.

Dude, this is ablip, for al lwe know. So many jobs have been lost, that there are not many more to lose. Companies aer already running on skeleton crews.
Its like some person wanting to lose weight, first loses all his body fat, then not satified with it starts starving himself and starts to lose muscle mass, after that is gone, the only choice is to start cutting body parts off, to lose more weight.....
These numbers have to improve consistently for a few months, even a year for any stable, long to meadium term gains...

Hi, I have fallen in love with a lady from Nicaragua. She has been in the US for 5 years illegally living under a common law marriage to a man with legal US residence. I am a US citizen, born in the US, and I want to marry her and get her legal. There are two points you should know. She has a daughter with the man she was living with who was born in the US almost 3 years ago. She also has a son who is 13 still living in Nicaragua and I want to bring him here to live with us also. How can I get her legal and bring her son here to live with us? We are deeply in love and a separation while she goes back to try to make this happen is out of the question for two reasons, one her ex husband will not allow his daughter to leave the country, and two because I do not want to live without her for that long. The first one is the 7th Avenue stop on F. That's actually 8th Ave, but the station is really big. :) The other ones are also of 8th Ave and taken from my apartment.

Thank you for the reply. My confusion stemmed from whether i can use my US License as my id for gaining the license. Or whether somehow my A# or I94 number had to be noted on the license/certificate in order to use it at a later point for the green card process.

My father passed away recently and my mother wishes to travel with my wife and I on a visitor visa.
How can she apply for 10 year multiple entry visa? Can she return after the visa expires, after a month? Any experiences anyone can share? Are there any reasons why some visas get denied?
My wife and I are permanent residents and we want to know whether this is of any advantage/disadvantage.
Any pointers/info/help are much appreciated. I looked through the relevant IV threads and yes, they are informative but rules change all the time and I decided to just go ahead and post this thread to get the latest feedback.
Has your mother gotten US visitor visa before? The most important point is to prove to the consulate that your mom will return back from USA. To prove that you need to show some strong ties in your home country. Now that she is a widow it can work against her unless your siblings are still in india. All other things are secondary.
The number of years for the visa can range from 3 months to 10 years and it depends on how strong your mother's case is.

I have received my FP notice one month back and have my appointment scheduled for next tuesday. I haven't received my wife and daughter's FP notice yet. (my daughter is 7 years old)
I called USCIS 2 to 3 times and finally 10 days back they told me that my wife and daughter’s appointment also set for same date as mine and he was not sure why they have not sent me notice yet. USCIS Rep told me that he is going to send me a copy. I haven't received copy yet as of today. I called USCIS again yesterday but they couldn’t see if notice has been sent or not.

I am planning to go to ASC with my family and will see if they could take FP for them along with me. USCIS also suggested same but they can't guarantee if ASC will take it or not.

I suspect, if the camera has a chargable clock battery, it's NOT a "user-servicable" part. The idea is that they don't break.
That's just a guess - I don't have a D70, so I don't know for sure.
I did a few entries in Google, with the result that I'm fairly sure the clock-battery is an internal non-user-changable battery [particularly a reference to the same technology being used on a Nikon D1].
I expect that aside from the inconvenience and shipping cost, the service is fairly reasonable in cost... But that's just a guess...

i transferred from one dept to another. the next dept filed for a H1B amend after 4 months. The lawyers filled in my G325 with the earlier, start date (and not the later filing date).

Priority Date - March 2004,
Received Date - July 2nd, 2007
Notice Date - Aug. 08, 2007
My Kid's case has
Priority Date - March 2004,
Received Date - July 2nd, 2007
Notice Date - Nov. 20, 2007 (As 08/23/2007 is the current processing time frame, my kid's Notice Date is out of current time frame)
This is happened due to a rejection of my kid's 485 application initially during July 2007 fiasco due to the Old and New fee schedule implementaion of USCIS, even though we have remitted the correct fee.
1) Do anybody know how USCIS will process our case?
Like adjudicating my and spouse applications with out kid's applicaiton? Or none of the applications process?
2) Taking an info pass appointment will do any favour on this case?
3) Any other suggestions?

No, you do not need to file I485 for child, who is a us citizen. No medicals exam required, since they get everything here after birth.
But you have to mention child details on your I485.

I plan to join Company B using H1 transfer (AC21) and they also help me continue my I-485 by proving similarity of job.

Hi! I'm H1B holder and my company is willing to sponsor the green card. I'm coming from Eastern Europe (Moldova) and in US am working as software developer, I guess it's EB-3, right? I graduated in Romania Bachelor Degree in Mathematics & Computer Science (4 years) and Master Degree in Computer Science & Engineering (2 years). My work experience is more than 7 years. Please advice how to proceed to get this process done properly, legally and fast, reasonably possible and how much time it would probably take. Thanks in advance!
