I was thinking off purchasing a Rocket Blower from Jessops and also a small brush.

THose who have filed with the Premiumproceesin as option are getting notifications. The rest will get it relativlely later. As UScis says the notification dates would not be later than June. has any one got back their applications? :confused:

I agree US having fair consideration for illegals because of political reasons(VOTES to be specific)
but the author comparing India & Mexico having strict rules.. common...
India have borders open for Bangladesh and whoever crosses the border, with out any shame
the present ruling party kaangress is giving Ration Card and Voters Id.
Mexico we all know how tuff the law is and what they do.
So Please do not compare apples with oranges.. whoever is the author.
Now Texas, Utah, the list goes on, Hope at least because of this CIR will come to the floor soon!
here there is no legals and illegals now, no one should be allowed to do divide and rule policy.

The intent is to keep the issue of immigration alive till the elections so that there is a chance for any Immigration bill after elections. There are several other pressing issues faced by the nation and Immigration is just one of them. It may not be #1 priority now. The lameduck is very important if something needs to be done on Immigration. The results of Nov elections will also influence what kind of Immigration reform is possible. If you go in person, the Consular Officer addresses most issues in the afternoon. You could ask for a meeting with him and explain your situation.
I think this will be the easiest resolution.

Hi,
I am ready to send my EAD/AP renewal forms - not sure where to send is it NSC or TSC. My I485 is currently pending at TSC. All my previous applications have receipt numbers starting with SRC.
My lawyer (actually para-legal) mentioned that she will send them to NSC - I am not sure since she screwed it up once before.
Please let me know if we have to send EAD/AP renewals to same service center where our I-485 is currently pending or it does not matter.

do we know how much it is for this year?
For FY2010 it was ~ 10K and it was mentioned some time back on USCIS website that the spillover for FY2011 may be similar. But I guess we won't know until an official announcement is made.

part where.. "OK HOLD CTRL and click on the layer with your shape on it to select it, now making sure you have the rectangular marquee active on the tools palette, on your keyboard press UP once and LEFT once to offset the selection. last i heard, ins was planning to introduce a rule saying - if i140 is not filed within 45 days of labor approval, it was going to be voided. Many people opposed this idea..but at the same time, it had its benefits because, people file labor and then sell it many years later. this rule was meant to prevent these kind of shady substitutions.

You did your GC for future employement and never worked for them. Now you want to use AC21. Do you think this as a fraud. You will get into trouble sooner or later.

This is really a grey area., and totally depends on the adjudication officer. All they look for is the intention to work for that employer at the timing of I-140. That is hard to prove if you never worked for them. And thats easier for the officer to prove you never had any intentions of working for that employer. So who has better advantage here? Not the beneficiary for sure...

I am planning to sponsor visitors visa for my parents and and based on the available documentation I need to submit my birth certificate as part of the required docs.
My parents name in the their passport is not exactly the same as in my birth certificate. The last name is good and the issue is with the first and middle names not being exactly the same. Will this be an issue when they go for VISA. Should I get the names corrected in my parents passport before applying for VISA.
If we need to correct the names in the passport in India, does anyone have an idea of the process and how long it might take.
Any advice/help is greatly appreciated.

The most effective way is to ask for old PD on the new I 140. There is a box on form I 140 that asks for prior approved I 140 and PD on that (if you want to retain it). download the form and see it for yourself.
It can also be done at 485 stage, but much easier to do at 140 stage.
Make sure to insert the same A number that came with old I 140.
Good Luck.

- I get nothing, why should you?.
2. Can "A" have a second job in his wife's company and retain his original job?
- Come on man, her majesty's service has to be your first job.
3. Can "A" have a different occupation anywhere else on EAD not related to his original job role? and then can "A" get paid in check?

4. Can "A" work for his wife's company and instead wife gets the check or paid? Is that legal?

With regards to the 485, are these dates the dates our applications were received at the center? (which for almost everyone who filed in the jul 2007 fiasco would be prior to Aug 17, 2007).
Or is this the notice date?
My notice date is much later, end of Sep 2007 but the date it was recweived at TSC was around Aug 15.

Now they have all cases almost pre adjucted and must have entered information into some sort of computer system . can we put pressure to get information based on PD and country of origin so we can idea about wait and also we can show to congress man.
